WinWrap® Basic adds Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Support

  • Compile a .NET 4.6 application with WinWrap® Basic .NET 4.0 component

  • Use C# 6 and VB 14 with Visual Studio 2015
  • Work with the new .NET 4.6 assemblies in Visual Studio 2015
Visual Studio 2015 displays the WinWrap Basic IDE control

C# 6 and VB 14

  • ?., ?! and ?( operators
  • String interpolation: $"...{expr1}...{expr2}..."
  • If expression result before ? is Nothing then result is Nothing instead of a null reference exception

WinWrap® Basic is available as a .NET 4.0 component compatible with .NET 4.6

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 supports .NET 4.6 and .NET 2.0/3.5 assemblies on a per project basis
  • Upgrade to Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and keep using WinWrap® Basic
