Announcing WinWrap® Basic as a .NET 4.0 Component!

WinWrap® Basic runs on the Windows Server 2008 as .NET 4.0 Component

• WinWrap® Basic is now available as a .NET 4.0 component
• Windows Server 2008 installs .NET Framework 4.0 by default
• Windows Server 2008 installs .NET Framework 3.0/3.5 as an optional component

Applications using .NET Framework 3.0/3.5 require "In-Process Side-by-Side Execution"

• Both the v2.0-v3.5 with v4.0 .NET installations are required
• Windows Server 2008 installs .NET Framework 4.0 by default
• A .NET Framework 3.0/3.5 optional component installation is required
• The v4.0 CLR is separate from v2.0-v3.5 CLR
• In-process side-by-side execution provides access to both CLRs
• In-process side-by-side execution enables an application to load and start multiple versions of the .NET Framework in the same process

How WinWrap® Basic Version 9 can run on Windows Server 2008

• WinWrap® Basic version 9   -   requires Windows Server 2008 optional component .NET 3.0/3.5
